SPEC (Sega Players Enjoy Club) was a short-lived magazine by SEGA that started out life as a newsletter. It ran from 1988-1993. Several Phantasy Star related comics were included, some of which I have translated. Outside Saga is a 4 part comic written and illustrated by Judy Totoya, a character designer for Phantasy Star II. This story takes place 3 years after Alisa + party defeated Lashiec. Fun fact: Judy was also the creator/designer of the character Miles “Tails” Prower!

“Third” is a 3-chapter short series by Yoshibon (the lead designer/artist for PSII, PSIV, and the Drama CD). It tells the story of Nei-Third and a young Rudy (he was the prototype for Rudy/Chaz in PSIV)
