Shilka’s (Shir’s) name in Japanese is a pun for “who cares?”

In PSII, Nei’s weapons were mistakenly translated as “bars”, confusing everyone who could see they were claws. This is because the translators thought the word for claws (クローkurō) was referring to “crow”, as in “crow bars”.
